Chapter 16: Load Controllers
Run Options, Files and Information
Settings (shown below) for the adjustment step size, adjustment speed, min
speed and other parameters can be found by pressing this button on the Load
control Window.
Timeline Preview and Selection: The top Left of the windows shows the saved ‘Timelines’ and these can easily be
picked to use for testing (importance of using meaningful names becomes obvious). ‘Double clicking’ on a timeline file
name shows the preview screen shown below to confirm the parameters.
Note: Timeline files displayed are based on the dyno mode chosen, if in ‘Speed’ mode
only speed based timelines are shown, likewise if in ‘RPM’ mode only RPM based
timelines are shown.
Throttle Trims: The travel of the throttle servo (if used) can be controlled
here. This should be set to limit mechanical damage from over travel.
Manual Min RPM: The minimum RPM that is allowed when in manual test mode can be set to prevent
stalling the engine.
Note: If in ‘Speed’ mode the RPM is replaced with a speed setting.
