CP/LP PATH Option Notes
For 7200 with CP/LP-PATH option ONLY:
Changes to user interface:
Real time display provides status of feed switches in the following compact
format:
TX=transmit; RX=receive;
CP=circular polarization; LP=linear polarization
H or V = Horizontal or Vertical for LP alignment
R or L = Right hand or Left Hand for CP alignment
- = No switch feedback
? = Switch conflict
Status examples:
TX and RX both at Right Hand CP position:
TX @RCP RX @RCP
TX en route to LP; RX en route to LP:
Note that you'll see "TX @ CP" even if the feed is being moved, until
we see that it has left the CP station (that is, AT_LP is no longer
asserted.)
TX-> LP RX-> CP
TX is not at either CP or LP, and isn't being commanded anywhere.
This can happen at power-up, before commanding the feed to a
position. This is also an indication that no status is being reported.
Cable could be disconnected.
TX----- RX @LCP
RX has conflicting feedback: either status indicates that CP and LP are both being
asserted simultaneously, or else the pair of switches are in two different positions.
TX @RCP RX--???
