state-refresh-rate-limit interval
The timeout interval at which the S9300 waits to receive the next State-Refresh message is set.
By default, the timeout interval for receiving State-Refresh messages is 30 seconds.

3.8.5 Setting the TTL Value of a State-Refresh Message
Context
When receiving a State-Refresh message, an S9300 subtracts 1 from the TTL value and forwards
the value to a downstream S9300 until the TTL value becomes 0. On a small scale network,
State-Refresh messages are transmitted circularly. To effectively control the transmission range,
you need to set a proper TTL value according to the scale of the network.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
pim
The PIM view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
state-refresh-ttl ttl-value
The TTL value for forwarding State-Refresh messages is set.
By default, the TTL value is 255.

3.8.6 Checking the Configuration
Prerequisite
The setting of the State-Refresh control parameters is complete.
Procedure
l Run the display pim interface [ interface-type interface-number | up | down ]
[ verbose ] command to check the PIM information on the interface.
l Run the display pim control-message counters [ interface interface-type interface-
number ] [ message-type message-type ] command to check the number of sent and
received PIM control messages.
