5.6.4 Configuring a Static RP
Context
NOTE
l When BSR-RP is used in a PIM-SM network, skip this configuration.
l When the static RP is used in the PIM-SM network, you must perform this configuration.
Do as follows on all the S9300s in the local PIM-SM domain.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
pim
The PIM view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
static-rp rp-address
The address of the static RP is configured as the address of the loopback interface.

5.6.5 Configuring MSDP Peers
Context
If more than two S9300s are configured with the RP using the same IP address, make sure that
the MSDP peer relation is normal between the S9300s. Do as follows on the S9300s that need
to establish anycast RP.
