Configuration Roadmap
The configuration roadmap is as follows:
1. Enable IGMP snooping globally.
2. Create a VLAN and enable IGMP snooping in the VLAN.
3. Set the version of IGMP snooping.
4. Configure an SSM group policy for IGMP snooping.
Data Preparation
To complete the configuration, you need the following data:
l ID of the VLAN that the interfaces belong to: VLAN 100
l Version of IGMP snooping: IGMPv3
l Multicast group address: 232.1.1.1/24
l IP address of Source 2: 10.1.1.1/24
Procedure
Step 1 Enable IGMP snooping globally.
