Before setting the parameters for controlling the MSDP peer relation, complete the following
tasks:
l Configuring the unicast routing protocol to ensure that the IP routes between nodes are
reachable

Data Preparation
To set the parameters for controlling the MSDP peer relation, you need the following data.

2 Address of the remote MSDP peer
3 Interval for retrying establishing the TCP
connection

Context
Do as follows on the S9300 where an MSDP peer is configured.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
msdp
The MSDP view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
peer peer-address description text
The description of the MSDP peer is configured.
By default, no description is configured for an MSDP peer.
