System – Logging
System logging for the mbNET can be outsourced to another computer by using a log server.
Label
Description
Set debug output to syslog
Output debug info to the syslog.
Log also to USB-Device
The logs are also being saved to an USB-Device.
Enable Remote Logging
To enable a log server, place a check in the box by clicking on it. System log-
ging for the mbNET industrial router can now be outsourced to another com-
puter.
Remote IP address
Remote IP address of log server. In this case: 192.168.0.65
Remote Port
Remote port for log server. In this case: Port 514
We recommend to not change this port, as certain applications may not work
properly on a completely different port.
