Creating the PLC connection
The “Name” field must not contain any control characters or spaces. Click the „+“ button after entering the
data.
If using the MPI/PROFIBUS interface, the IP of the router’s LAN interface must be entered in the PLC IP ad-
dress field. Otherwise the IP address of the PLC. The slot address is the bus address with MPI/PROFIBUS com-
munication and, in the case of direct Ethernet communication, the slot space of the PLC on the rack (generally
two).
