2. Remove the rubber ring, O‑ring, and shims.
a - Rubber ring
b - Shims
c - O‑ring
3. Press the pinion shaft out of the pinion shaft housing.
4. Remove the pinion shaft ball bearing and two seals using the bearing puller assembly.
