GSM is characterized by the following properties:
• BCCH and several traffic channels
• Channel bandwidth 200 kHz
• Cycle time: 8 timeslots of 577 μs each = 4.6 ms
This results in the following settings:
10.3.3 Example 2: DECT telephone
DECT is characterized by the following properties:
• Frequency range: 1880 MHz – 1900 MHz
• Base station is permanently active
• Number of channels: 10
• Channel bandwidth: 1728 kHz
• Cycle time: 24 timeslots of 368 µs each = 8 ms
This results in the following settings:
