The measured spectrum is compared to a model spectrum calculated from the
determined concentrations. The difference between these two spectra is called
the residual spectrum. If this residual spectrum is too high, the oximetry module
parameters

flagged with a warning.
In addition, a warning will accompany the results if any of the following
conditions exist:
