12.4.2.3 Peripheral boards
Viewing peripheral board status
You can use HiPath 3000/5000 Manager E or Assistant T to view the status of all peripheral
boards. Display is limited to the following statuses per board:
● Board not inserted
● Board defective (not loaded)
● Board disabled
● Board enabled (active)
● Board busy (at least one station or line from this board is disconnected, is being called, or
is busy).
For ISDN boards, the status of the reference clock is displayed:
● No reference clock
● Reference clock for clock generator is created.
When viewing the board status using the HiPath 3000/5000 Manager E, all peripheral boards
integrated into the system are presented in a table. The status display is updated every 3 sec-
onds.
With Assistant T, you can only view the status of one board at a time. You can also update the
status display by pressing a key.
You cannot perform additional activities with the HiPath 3000/5000 Manager E and Assistant T
while viewing the status of a board.
