Voice Channels (LAN1 - LAN2)
The following table indicates the HG 1500 voice channel load (LAN1
↔ LAN2) when voice
packets are routed via the HG 1500, e.g., for calls between IP phones in two different systems
networked via a VPN tunnel. The size of the HG 1500 load depends on the encryption algorithm
(AES or 3DES) and on the voice codec used (G.711, G.729, G.723).
