Modifying HiPath 5000 Components (Retro-Fitting, Updating, Deleting)
7. The Setup maintenance program appears.
Select the option Remove.
8. Then click Next.
9. Confirm the deletion of all installed components (features).
Follow the on-screen user prompts.
10. Delete the following directories (default paths are provided):
c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\
C:\Program Files\Siemens\HiPath\DB Feature Server\
C:\Program Files\Siemens\HiPath\HiPath5000\
Note: As these directories are not installed via Master Setup, it is not possible to delete
them via the setup maintenance program.
11. Install the components (features) for the new version (refer to the instructions in Section
6.6.3).
