When the Braking Module issues a fault message at binector input p3866, an attempt is
made to acknowledge the fault using signal r3861 at terminal X21.1 booksize or X21.3
chassis every 10 ms. Alarm A06900 is output simultaneously.

CU r2138.7 Acknowledge fault Vector
Note
Parameterization only for power units
The parameterization described is only applicable for power units (ALM, BLM, SLM). Power
Modules in the chassis format do not require this parameterization. This is because they
either dissipate excess energy using a connected braking re
sistor, or they go into a fault
condition if the energy cannot be dissipated.
Fast DC link discharge (booksize)
It is only possible to quickly discharge the DC link via the Braking Module External for the
booksize format. It is activated via binector input p3863 and started after the line contactor
opens and the adjustable delay time (p3862) has expired. The fast discharge is completed
when the line contactor contact closes.
Note
A fast DC link discharge requires the use of a line contactor with feedb
ack signal (p0860)
that is controlled via r0863.1.
