PROFIenergy energy-saving mode
SINAMICS S120 drive devices support PROFIenergy energy-saving mode 2. The following
two parameters indicate the effective PROFIenergy mode:
● Parameter r5600 indicates the currently active PROFIenergy mode.
● Using interconnectable bits, the r5613 parameter indicates whether the PROFIenergy
energy saving is active.
Activating the energy-saving mode
The energy-saving mode can activated or deactivated using the PROFIenergy control
commands (see also PROFIenergy commands (Page 849)).
General converter behavior when in the PROFIenergy energy-saving mode
● When the PROFIenergy energy-saving mode is active, the converter issues alarm
A08800.
● When the PROFIenergy energy-saving mode is active, the converter does not send any
diagnostic alarms.
● When the PROFIenergy energy-saving mode is active, then the READY-LED flashes
green in the on - off ratio: 500 ms on, 3000 ms off.
● If the bus connection to the control system is interrupted while the converter is in the
energy-saving mode, the converter exits the energy-saving mode and resumes normal
operation ("ready_to_operate").
● The converter changes into normal operation if the control system goes into the stop
condition while the converter is in the energy-saving mode.
