Additional devices, sanitation with disinfectant
Preparation
The following preparations should be made prior to beginning the
sanitizing process.
1. Set all burr drives and the SIROSONIC L scaler to the maximum
water flow rate. The water regulators under the instrument holder
must be turned counterclockwise.
2. Put all instruments and suction hoses in place.
3. Do not remove the tumbler holder from the cuspidor. Put an empty
glass with a volume 200 ml under the tumbler outlet to prevent
discoloration from the DENTOSEPT P disinfectant.
4. If the Compact water unit is equipped with the option to switch to the
public drinking water supply, it must be switched to operation with the
stand-alone water supply from the fresh water bottle for sanitizing.
Turn the lever clockwise to the bottle symbol. For more information,
please refer to the section entitled “Stand-alone water supply for the
Compact water unit”.
NOTICE
Additional devices connected to the external device connection must
not be sanitized with the treatment center.
Additional devices can be damaged. Residues of DENTOSEPT P
disinfectant can remain in the additional devices.
Disconnect any additional devices from the treatment center prior to
sanitation.
