4. As the demo continues, navigational hints and code-specific features are
described (Figure 2-3). Select Next to continue.

5. The demo explains that two codes are available in the code list for this demo,
and to choose P0300 on the next screen (Figure 2-4). Select “Got It” to
continue.

6. The code results screen displays, select P0300 to continue (Figure 2-5).

7. The Intelligent Diagnostics main menu opens. Descriptions are provided for
the various options, scroll down and select GIVE IT A TRYto continue.
8. Select any card (e.g. Technical Service Bulletins, Smart Data, Real Fixes, etc.)
to learn more about the code-specific information that is provided. Follow the
screen prompts as needed.
9. When finished, select Back repeatedly, and other prompts as needed to return
to the Main Menu (Engine).

z Scanner Demo 3 - View, Configure and Save Engine Data (PIDs)
This demonstration simulates viewing engine data (PIDs) in list and graph views,
creating a custom data list, and saving the data for review at a later time.
For additional information on viewing data, see Data (Viewing PIDs) on page 57.
Viewing PIDs:
From the Main Menu (Engine), select Data Display > Engine Data.
The Engine Data list is displayed showing all supported PIDs. Gesture scroll to
view all the data (if applicable).
Changing the displayed view:
Select an Expand/Collapse icon (Figure 2-6) to toggle a PID between list and
graph display.
If the PID is in list display, selecting the Expand/Collapse icon will open that
PID in graph display, and move it to the top of the list.
You can select multiple PIDs (scroll as needed) and open them in graph
display, and then select Graph View from the upper toolbar to view those
selected PIDs (up to 16) in a multi-graph display.
