ECM Removal and Installation

Removal
1) Remove the seat. Refer to “Exterior Parts Removal
and Installation in Section 9D (Page 9D-4)”.
2) Remove the prop stay (1).
3) Remove the TO sensor (2).
4) Remove the battery holder lid (3) by removing the
screw (4).
5) Remove the battery (–) lead wire (5).
6) Disconnect the ECM couplers (6) and remove the
ECM (7).
Installation
Install the ECM in the reverse order of removal.
