Suzuki SFV650 - Oil Pressure Switch Removal and Installation

Engine Lubrication System: 1E-8
3) Disconnect the oil cooler hoses (1).
4) Remove the washer (3) and oil cooler (4) by
removing the union bolt (2).
Installation
Install the oil cooler in the reverse order of removal. Pay
attention to the following points:
• Apply grease to the O-ring.
CAUTION
!
Use a new O-ring to prevent oil leakage.
NOTE
When installing the oil cooler, fit the concave
part “A” of the oil cooler onto the convex part
“B” of the crankcase.
: Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
• Tighten the union bolt (1) to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Oil cooler union bolt (a): 70 N·m (7.0 kgf-m, 50.5
lbf-ft)

Removal
1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Drain engine oil. Refer to “Engine Oil and Filter
Replacement in Section 0B (Page 0B-10)”.
3) Disconnect the oil pressure switch lead wire.
4) Remove the oil pressure switch (1).
