1J-8 Charging System:
• Tighten the clutch release arm bolt (11) to the
specified torque.
Tightening torque
Clutch release arm bolt (e): 9 N·m (0.9 kgf-m, 6.5
lbf-ft)
• Check the clutch cable play. Refer to “Clutch System
Inspection in Section 0B (Page 0B-14)”.
• After installing the removed parts, pour engine oil.
Refer to “Engine Oil and Filter Replacement in
Section 0B (Page 0B-10)”.

Inspect the regulator/rectifier in the following procedures:
1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Disconnect the regulator/rectifier couplers (1).
