The 4520 is equipped with a speed sensor to monitor the ground speed of the
machine. The speed sensor is mounted near the parking brake drum and receives a
signal from a gear tooth passing the face of the sensor. The machine can be
equipped with three different styles of speed sensor. The Cherry GS101205
receives a signal from the side of a gear tooth, while the Littlefuse 55075 and
Littlefuse 55505
receive a signal from the end of a gear tooth.
