Hydraulic System Components (continued)
7. Start the machine and allow it to run at low idle for a few minutes. Turn the
steering wheel left and right to remove any trapped air from the hydraulic system.
8. Shut off the machine, allow the oil to cool, check the hydraulic oil level, and adjust
the level as required.
Removing the Front Hydraulic Motor
CAUTION
Before opening the hydraulic system, operate all the hydraulic controls to
release system pressure and avoid injury from the pressurized hydraulic fluid;
refer to Relieving Pressure from the Hydraulic System, page 5–2.

Temperature sensor
1. Remove any attachments from the machine, park the machine on a level surface,
engage the parking brake, remove the key from the ignition, and switch the main
circuit breaker to the O
FF position.
2. Drain the hydraulic fluid from the front transaxle.
3. Disconnect the hydraulic oil temperature sensor
from the wiring harness and
remove the sensor from the motor.
Note: Clean the hydraulic connections before disconnecting any hydraulic hoses or
fittings.
4. Label and disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the front hydraulic motor.
