General Electrical System Problems
If there is an electrical issue;
• Check the main circuit breaker, ensure that the circuit breaker is in the O
N
position.
• Serial # 01001–02232 check the 15 amp fuse in position F10 and the 5 amp fuse
in position F08. Replace the fuses if necessary.
• Serial # 02232– check the 15 amp fuse in position F06 and the 5 amp fuse in
position F03. Replace the fuses if necessary.
The battery does not charge.
Possible Cause Corrective Action
Loose or corroded battery connections. Inspect and clean/tighten the battery
connections.
A broken or loose wire in the charging
system.
Inspect and tighten connections or
replace wires as required.
A blown fuse in the charging system. Replace blown fuses.
A blown or broken fusible link. Inspect/replace the fusible link.
The alternator/fan belt is loose. Tighten the alternator/fan belt.
A faulty regulator. Replace the regulator.
A faulty alternator. Replace the alternator.
The battery is defective. Replace the battery.
The lights do not activate.
Possible Cause Corrective Action
A blown fuse. Replace the fuse.
A faulty light. Replace the light.
A faulty switch. Replace the switch.
A broken wire. Locate and repair/replace the wire.
