Mounting bolts
O-rings
1. Remove any attachments from the machine, park the machine on a level surface,
engage the parking brake, remove the key from the ignition, and switch the main
circuit breaker to the O
FF position.
2. Lift and support the operator’s seat.
Note: Clean the hydraulic connections before disconnecting any hydraulic hoses or
fittings.
3. Label and disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the rear hydraulic motor. Remove
and discard O-rings from the fittings.
4. Install clean caps or plugs on the hydraulic hoses and fittings to prevent
contamination.
5. Remove the rear hydraulic motor mounting bolts
.
6. Remove the rear hydraulic motor and O-ring
from the machine.
7. Cover the opening in the rear transaxle to prevent contamination.
8. If the hydraulic fittings will be removed from the hydraulic motor, mark the fitting
orientation, and remove the fittings from the motor and discard the O-rings from
the fittings.
Installing the Rear Hydraulic Motor
1. Install the hydraulic fittings into the rear hydraulic motor as required. Lubricate the
new O-rings with clean hydraulic fluid; refer to Installing the Hydraulic Fittings
