(SAE Straight Thread O-Ring Fittings), page 5–12. Ensure that the fittings are
orientated correctly.
2. Install a new O-ring Figure 31, item 2 onto the hydraulic motor.
3. Remove the cover from the transaxle.
4. Position the hydraulic motor in the machine against the transaxle and install the
mounting bolts Figure 31, item 1.
5. Remove the caps and plugs that were installed to the hydraulic hoses. Lubricate
and install the new O-rings, connect the hydraulic hoses to the fittings on the rear
hydraulic motor. Tighten the hose connections; refer to Installing the Hydraulic
Hoses and Tubes (O-Ring Face Seal), page 5–10.
6. Remote filter the hydraulic system; refer to Remote Filtering the Hydraulic
System, page 5–3.
7. Check the hydraulic system for leaks and add hydraulic fluid to the system as
required.
Removing the Hydraulic Pump
CAUTION
Before opening the hydraulic system, operate all the hydraulic controls to
release system pressure and avoid injury from the pressurized hydraulic fluid;
refer to Relieving Pressure from the Hydraulic System, page 5–2.
