slowly throughout the entire range of movement. Monitor resistance, if the
resistances stops changing or performs a sharp jump replace the sender.
9. Replace the sender if testing determines that it is faulty.
10. If the sender tests correctly and a circuit problem still exists, check the wire
harnesses; refer to 9 Appendix A, page 9–1.
11. Carefully install sender into fuel tank and install the fuel tank main cover.
12. Switch the main circuit breaker to the O
N position, to energize the electrical
system.
Oil Pressure Switch

Oil pressure switch
The engine oil pressure switch is located on the engine near the oil filter. The oil
pressure switch is a normally closed switch that opens with oil pressure.
The oil pressure switch should open at approximately 68.6 — 127.4 kPa (9.9 — 18.5
psi).
IMPORTANT
If the oil pressure indicator light is illuminated with the engine running, shut off
the engine immediately. Check the indicator light, circuit wiring, pressure
switch and engine lubrication system to identify the cause of the illuminated
indicator light.
