Removing and Installing the Fuel Tank Top Cover

2. Switch the main circuit breaker to the OFF position, to de-energize the electrical
system.
3. Remove the mounting bolts
.
4. Remove the fuel tank cap.
5. Remove the fuel tank top cover
from the machine.
6. Install the fuel tank cap.
7. To install the fuel tank top cover, remove the fuel tank cap.
8. Position the fuel tank top cover over the fuel tank aligning the mounting holes.
9. Install the fuel tank cap.
10. Install the mounting bolts.
11. Switch the main circuit breaker to the O
N position, to energize the electrical
system.

1. Park the machine on a level surface, lower any attachments to the ground,
engage the parking brake, and remove the key from the ignition.
2. Switch the main circuit breaker to the O
FF position, to de-energize the electrical
system.
3. Remove the mounting bolts
, washers , and nuts .
4. Remove the fuel tank inner cover
.
5. To install the fuel tank inner cover, position the cover against the seat box frame
and the fuel tank top cover aligning the mounting holes.
