Removing the Dash

Mounting bolts
1. Park the machine on a level surface, lower any attachments to the ground,
engage the parking brake, and remove the key from the ignition.
2. Switch the main circuit breaker to the O
FF position, to de-energize the electrical
system.
3. Raise the hood.
4. Remove the steering wheel; refer to Removing and Installing the Steering Wheel,
page 7–32.
5. Remove the steering valve cover; refer to Removing and Installing the Steering
Valve Cover, page 7–33.
6. Remove the parking brake cover; refer to Removing and Installing the Parking
Brake Cover, page 7–34.
7. Remove the hydraulic pump cover; refer to Removing and Installing the Hydraulic
Pump Cover, page 7–15.
8. Locate and disconnect the dash wiring harness electrical connection near the
parking brake.
9. Disconnect the warning alarm, info gauge, and key switch electrical connections.
10. Remove the TCM or TCS; refer to Removing and Installing the TCM, page 6–20
or Removing and Installing the TCS, page 6–22.
11. Disconnect the throttle cable from the engine; refer to Removing and Installing
the Throttle Cable, page 4–20.
12. Remove the steering valve mounting bolts; refer to Removing and Installing the
Steering Valve, page 5–30.
13. Remove the hydraulic fluid reservoir mounting bolts; refer to Removing and
Installing the Hydraulic Fluid Reservoir, page 5–37.
14. Remove the dash mounting bolts

15. Lift the dash to remove it from the machine.
