Testing the Static Implement Pressure
Figure 20
G441481
Gauge, 1500–2000 PSI
1. Remove any attachments from the machine, park the machine on a level surface,
and engage the parking brake.
2. Install a 1500–2000 PSI gauge
into an auxiliary hydraulic quick coupler.
3. Start the machine and increase the engine speed to 3600 RPM.
4. Monitor the gauge while engaging the auxiliary control lever. The direction the
lever needs to move will depend on which quick coupler the gauge is installed.
5. Pressure should be a minimum of 850 PSI.
6. Return the engine speed to idle RPM, turn off the engine and remove the 1500–
2000 PSI gauge.
Testing the Hydrostatic Drive System Under Load
CAUTION
Loading the hydrostatic drive system requires the machine to be tethered to an
anchor point. Failure to use a proper anchor point or proper tether could result
in injury or damage to equipment.
