1. Install the pump on the lower frame, ensuring the outlet of the fuel pump is
pointing toward the engine.
2. Connect the fuel hoses to the pump securing them in place with hose clamps.
3. Connect the wiring harness and secure the harness using a cable tie.
4. Turn the fuel shut-off valve to the O
N position refer to the Operator’s Manual.
5. Switch the main circuit breaker to the O
N position, to energize the electrical
system.
6. Prime the fuel system; refer to Priming the Fuel System, page 4–9 and check for
leaks.
7. Install the rear lower frame (tunnel) cover.
