WARNING
The parking brake must be disengaged as part of this procedure. Wheel chocks
must be used to prevent the machine from rolling forward or backward.
1. Remove any attachments from the machine, park the machine on a level surface,
remove the key from the ignition, chock the wheels front and rear, and switch the
main circuit breaker to the O
FF position.
2. Remove the hydraulic pump cover; refer to Removing and Installing the Hydraulic
Pump Cover, page 7–15.
3. Remove the parking brake cover; refer to Removing and Installing the Parking
Brake Cover, page 7–34.
4. Disconnect the parking brake switch wiring harness from the main wiring
harness.
