Suction hose
1. Remove any attachments from the machine, park the machine on a level surface,
engage the parking brake, remove the key from the ignition, and switch the main
circuit breaker to the O
FF position.
2. Drain Hydraulic fluid from the quick couplers.
3. Remove the radiator; refer to 4520P Removing the Radiator, page 4–15.
4. Remove the drive shaft; refer to Removing and Installing the Drive Shaft, page 4–
19.
5. Remove the hydraulic pump cover; refer to Removing and Installing the Hydraulic
Pump Cover, page 7–15, hydraulic filter access cover; refer to Removing and
Installing the Hydraulic Filter Access Cover, page 7–17 , and right pump access
cover; refer to Removing and Installing the Right Hydraulic Pump Cover, page 7–
16.
6. Disconnect the SDLA linkage from the hydraulic control arm.
7. Remove the bearing and mounting bolt
from the neutral assist bracket.
Note: Clean the hydraulic connections before disconnecting any hydraulic hoses or
fittings.
8. Disconnect the suction hose
from the filter head. Remove and discard O-rings
from the fitting.
9. Label and disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the hydraulic pump. Remove and
discard O-rings from the fittings.
