Priming the Fuel System
The fuel system must be primed before starting the engine for the first time, after
running out of fuel, or after fuel system maintenance {e.g., draining the fuel/water
separator, replacing the fuel filter, or disconnecting a fuel hose.
1. Ensure that the fuel tank has fuel in it.
2. Turn the ignition key to the run position for approximately 30 seconds. The
operator should hear the fuel pump operating.
3. Start the machine. Repeat if necessary.
