4520P Installing the Exhaust System
1. Install the gaskets over the exhaust studs on the engine. Ensure that the gaskets
are aligned with the manifold hole.
2. Install the muffler on the exhaust manifolds securing it in place with lock washers
and nuts.
3. Install the muffler heat shield.
4. Install the right engine cover; refer to Removing and Installing the Engine Covers,
page 7–14.
5. Install the grill and hood assembly; refer to Removing and Installing the Grill,
page 7–14 Removing and Installing the Hood, page 7–13.

The fuel system includes a fuel tank, electric sending unit, fuel filter, and electric fuel
pump.
