Procedure to Remove Fuse Holder
1. Turn off AC power to the controller and disconnect the power cord from the
AC power source.
2. Remove the AC power cord from the socket on the power entry module.
3. To remove the fuse holder, insert a small flat-blade screwdriver into the slot
between the fuse holder and the power cord socket, then lift up to release the
fuse holder; see Figure 3-2. Spare fuses are stored in the sliding compartments.
4. To reinstall the fuse holder, insert it in place, then press down firmly until the
entire holder snaps into position.
The “T” suffix indicates the fuse response time — a 5 AT fuse
rating specifies a 5 amp “slow-blow” type.

Fan and Filter Information (MV-5 and MV-10)
Cooling Fan
The chassis is cooled by an internal fan. On a robot controller, the air intake is
through the bottom of the chassis, and the exhaust is out through the top. On a
stand-alone controller, the air intake is through the right side of the chassis, and
the exhaust is out through the left side.
