Chapter 1 CompactLogix 5480 System
• System SA power bus current is calculated as each module draws SA
power bus current. The calculation begins with the controller. The
controller SA power bus current draw used for the calculation is 10 mA
for DC power.
In
Figure 6, after the 5069-IB16 module in slot 1 draws SA power bus
current, the system SA power bus current is 210 mA.
After the 5069-IB6F-3W module in slot 2 draws SA power bus current,
the system SA power bus current draw is 1.110 A. This process
continues until the system SA power bus current is 7.860 A.
