Coolant Heater
An optional coolant heater is available for your
combine. This heater mounts in the freeze
plug opening (A) in front of the engine block
and warms the engine coolant, which reduces
oil drag, eases starting, and shortens warm up
time.
To avoid shock or hazardous operation,
always use a three-
electrical cord equipped with wire
connectors for the heater. If a two-to-
three contact adapter is used at the wall
receptacle, always c
to a good ground.
Before connecting the heater to a power
source, make sure the element is
immersed in coolant. NEVER energize
the heater in air. Doing so can cause the
element sheath to burst, causing serious
personal Injury.
