Fuel Tank, Cap, and Breather
The fuel tank cap is non-vented. Instead, a
breather extends from the top of the fuel tank.
Keep the breather clean. A light tap against
the breather body will normally knock out dirt.
If the screen is plugged, remove breather from
tank for cleaning in a safe solvent. Wipe dirt
and chaff from area before removing the
breather.
To drain the fuel tank, open the petcock
(bottom photo)
at the bottom of the fuel tank.
Close finger tight when done. Use a clean
container when draining to see if the fuel is
dirty.
