COLLECTION AUGER
If the collection auger is running at less than
85% of its normal speed, the yellow light stays
on and the buzzer sounds steadily. The
header drive must be on and the operator
must be in the seat. Stop the engine, inspect
drives and slip clutch, and look for plugging.
HEADER AUGER
If the header auger is running at less than 85%
of its normal speed, the yellow light stays on
and the buzzer sounds steadily. The header
drive must be on and the operator must be in
the seat. This warning usually indicates a
header plug, which can often be defeated
quickly from the cab. The header must be
reversed or stopped immediately to avoid
damage. If the plug doesn’t clear: stop
engine, remove plugging, and inspect drives.
Inspect pump drive belts and check hydraulic
oil level.
