Audio Operating Tips
Avoid hearing loss by starting your radio
volume at a low level and adjusting it to a
comfortable and clear level. As your
hearing can adjust to loud levels, volume
that seems normal can actually damage
your hearing. Hearing loss is generally not
discovered until the damage is already
done. Protect your hearing by keeping your
receiver at a safe sound level.
Radio Reception
FM stereo provides you with the best sound
reception, but FM signals reach only about
16-65 KM (10-40 miles). Tall buildings and
hills can also interfere with signals, causing
the reception to come and go.
AM stations have a greater range than FM,
particularly at night. The longer range,
however, can cause stations to interfere
with each other. AM stations can also pick
up extra noises from storms, power lines,
etc. If you experience this noise issue, try
reducing the treble to decrease the noise.
NOTE!
If more than 15 seconds elapses
between any of the steps, the receiver
automatically reverts to displaying the
time and you must begin again at Step 4.
IMPORTANT!
Before adding extra
equipment such as a CB radio, mobile
phone, or two-
way radio, etc., contact
your dealer to make sure the item can be
installed on your machine. Added
equipment, if not correct for your
machine, can interfere with the operation
of your vehicle’s engine, radio, or other
system, and could even cause damage.
Make sure all additional equipment is
properly installed, as the existing
systems on your machine
can interfere
with an improperly installed new system.
Check with Federal Regulations before
adding mobile and telephone units to
your combine.
