9960 Self-Propelled Peanut Combine Operator’s Station
MAN091 06/03/05 49
PEANUT ELEVATOR
If the elevator door opens during operation,
the yellow light comes on and the buzzer
sounds steadily. The header drive must be on
and the operator must be in the seat for the
alarm to sound.
Stop the engine and look for plugging in the
elevator ductwork and the cross
auger/elevator junction. It is possible that the
elevator air is insufficient, causing peanuts to
clog and overflow through the elevator door
rather than going up the ductwork into the bin.
PEANUT BIN FULL
When the peanut bin is full, the blue light
comes on and the buzzer sounds two short
pulses. The light stays on until the bin is
emptied. The sensor must be tripped for two
seconds for the light to go on.
If the header switch is off, the buzzer does not
sound but the light stays on.
If the light stays on after the peanut bin is
empty, check condition of the switch and the
wiring for the peanut bin. The sensor can be
accessed through the bin light service door.
HYDRO CHARGE PRESSURE
If the charge pressure is not within the usual
limits, the red light comes on and the buzzer
pulsates after four seconds. Stop the engine
and check the oil level in the reservoir. Add oil
if needed or change the filter.
If the light stays on, see your John
Deere/AMADAS dealer.
