Safety
Before performing any maintenance on your
combine, always:
§ Make sure the gear shift is placed in
park.
§ Make sure the engine is turned off.
§ Remove the key from the ignition and
put it in a safe place.
Cylinder Stop
If maintenance requires the bin to be raised,
always set the stop to prevent the bin from
closing in case of accidental hydraulic
failure. Follow the instructions for setting
the cylinder stop for your type of combine.
9960 SP Combine with Dump Bin
1. Using combine controls, lift the basket
until fully extended as shown. TURN
OFF THE ENGINE AND REMOVE THE
KEY.
2. Locate the blue stop pin. The pin was
stored in the storage box behind the
passenger seat when the combine was
delivered from the factory.
3. Insert the pin in place as shown in the
photos. You will need to step into the
combine opening to correctly insert the
pin. Make sure the pin is inserted
through both openings in the hinge as
shown in the second photo.
NEVER attempt to perform maintenance
with the combine running.
