Air Cleaner Filters
Service the air filters when the engine air filter
light stays on.
To change the air filter:
A – Dust cover
B – Safety filter
C – Primary filter
1. Remove the dust cover.
2. Pull out the primary filter. The safety filter
stops dirt that would pass through a
damaged primary filter.
3.
Clean, wash, or replace the primary filter.
Do NOT cle
an or wash the safety filter.
Install a new one if it is dirty. Do NOT
remove the metal wrap on the filter.
4. Reinsert primary filter into safety filter.
5. Replace the dust cover.
6. Check all connections in the air intake
system. Be certain that they are tight.

urn the engine off and remove the
key to prevent dirt from being pulled
into the engine.

Never run the engine without both
filters in place.
