Filters
The fresh air and recirculating filters can be
cleaned. Use one of the following methods
to clean a filter:
• Tap filter gently on a flat surface, dirty
side down. Do NOT tap on a tire.
• Blow compressed air through the filter in
the opposite direction of the arrows on
the filter.
To wash the filter:
1. Soak the filter for 15 minutes in warm
(not hot) water with R36757 John Deere
Dry Filter Element cleaner or its equal (a
non-sudsing detergent).
2. Rinse the filter with water until it is
clean. Do NOT use a high pressure
washer.
3. Shake the extra water from the filter and
allow it to air dry. Do NOT use
compressed air to dry the filter; it can
rupture it.
Clean or replace the filter every
200 hours.
