HANDLE CHEMICAL PRODUCTS SAFELY
§ Direct exposure to hazardous chemicals
can cause serious injury. Potentially
hazardous chemicals used with
AMADAS/John Deere equipment include
such items as lubricants, coolants, paints,
and adhesives.
§ Before you start any job using a hazardous
chemical, check the MSDS so that you are
aware of the risks and know how to
proceed safely. Carefully follow all
procedures, using only recommended
equipment.
§ See your AMADAS/John Deere dealer for
MSDSs on chemical products used with
AMADAS/John Deere equipment.
STAY CLEAR OF HEADER
§ Many moving parts (such as the auger)
cannot be shielded due to function. Stay
clear of all moving elements during
operation.
§ Always disengage header drive, shut off
the engine and remove the key before
servicing or unclogging the header.
