Installing the Bonded Rubber Bushing
– Mount the tools as illustrated.
1 - Thrust Piece - T10301/7-
2 - Bonded Rubber Bushing
3 - Thrust Plate - T10301/6-
4 - Hydraulic Press - VAS6178-
5 - Nut - T10301/2-
6 - Spindle - T10301/1-
– Press in bonded rubber bushing until shoulder lies »gap-free«
at subframe sleeve.
Replacing the Rear Bonded Rubber Bushing in Direction of Trav‐
el, (V8 TDI from MY 11)
– Remove the rear subframe bolts -arrow- and the thrust wash‐
ers -2-.
– Lower the subframe -1- and clamp a piece of wood -2- be‐
tween the underbody and subframe.
• a - maximum 40 mm
