5.4.3.8 Operation 28. Replacement of engine oil filter
The installation location of the oil filter (on the right side of the engine) is shown in figure
5.4.29.

Replace the oil filter at the same time as changing oil in the engine crankcase in the fol-
lowing sequence:
- unscrew the filter from the fitting using a special remover;
- screw a new filter onto the fitting.
When installing the filter on the fitting, lubricate gasket 4 (figure 5.4.30) with engine oil.
After the gasket touches the supporting surface of filter housing 1, tighten the filter by another
1...1.5 turns. Install the filter on the housing only by hand.
