The plateau is the flat section of the curve and it is typically approx.
200V long. The crystal-multiplier assembly or the complete detec-
tor has to be replaced if
• the plateau is shorter than 50V
• the count rate changes by more than 5% per 100 Volt high
voltage
In Volume 5, section 6.1 or Volume 2, section 4.7 you find further
information on the plateau measurement or on replacing the crys-
tal-multiplier assembly.
4.2.28 FACTORY SETTINGS
Resets all values of the Uni-Probe to standard values.
For more information on restoring the factory settings please refer
to Volume 5, section 5.1.1.
4.2.29 HARDWARE RESET
Resets the CPU without changing the data that has been set.
Select HARDWARE RESET.
Click OK to start the hardware reset.
The hardware reset is carried out.
