5. Inspect for air bubbles in the crankcase oil dis-
tribution hoses.
– If air bubbles ARE present, proceed to
step 6.
– If air bubbles are NOT present proceed to
step 7.
6. Use the Crankcase Pump button of the Tests
screen to prime the crankcase oil pump.
Observe oil flow through the crankcase oil distri-
bution hoses. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until all air is
purged from the crankcase oil distribution hoses.
Continue to the next step.
7. Inspect for air bubbles in the cylinder oil distri-
bution hoses.
– If air bubbles ARE present, proceed to
step 8.
– If air bubbles are NOT present the oil pump
priming procedure is complete.
8. Use the Cylinder Pump button of the Tests
screen to prime the cylinder oil pump.
Observe oil flow through the cylinder oil distribu-
tion hoses. Repeat steps 7 and 8 until all air is
purged from the cylinder oil distribution hoses.
Repair any oil leaks.
The oiling system on these models can also be
primed using the Self-Winterizing feature if diag-
nostics software is not available. Refer to the
Operator’s Guide.
